New TetraFast™ chemistry and expanded Pharmacogenomics portfolio help laboratories dramatically increase molecular testing capacity without investing in new instrumentation.

ANAHEIM, – July 2026 – YouSeq will unveil its vision for the 40-Minute qPCR Laboratory at ADLM 2026, introducing a new generation of rapid qPCR chemistry alongside an expanded Pharmacogenomics (PGx) portfolio designed to help laboratories deliver more results, from the same instruments, in less time.
As demand for molecular testing continues to grow, many laboratories face a common challenge: instrument capacity. Increasing throughput has traditionally required investment in additional qPCR systems, laboratory space and validation. YouSeq believes there is a better way.
At the heart of the launch is TetraFast™, YouSeq’s new rapid qPCR chemistry, capable of reducing typical qPCR run times from around 90 minutes to approximately 40 minutes on standard qPCR instruments. By dramatically reducing instrument occupancy, laboratories can significantly increase the number of runs completed during a working day, improving productivity while making better use of existing equipment.
“For years, molecular diagnostics has focused on developing more assays,” said Jim Wicks, Chair of YouSeq. “We think the next challenge is making every instrument work harder. If laboratories can almost double the number of qPCR runs they perform each day without buying another instrument, that’s a transformational improvement in laboratory economics.”
The new chemistry will be available across YouSeq’s extensive infectious disease portfolio, enabling laboratories to increase testing capacity for respiratory, gastrointestinal, sexual health, antimicrobial resistance and numerous other molecular assays without changing their existing workflows or instrumentation.
Alongside TetraFast™, YouSeq is launching a comprehensive range of Pharmacogenomics (PGx) qPCR assays and panels, enabling laboratories to expand into one of the fastest-growing areas of precision medicine. The new assays provide rapid genotyping for clinically important pharmacogenomic markers, helping healthcare providers select safer, more effective drug therapies based on a patient’s genetic profile.
Together, the launches reflect YouSeq’s commitment to making molecular diagnostics not only broader, but faster, more productive and more commercially sustainable.
“Every laboratory is under pressure to deliver more testing with limited resources,” continued Wicks. “Whether that’s processing more infectious disease samples in a working day or expanding into pharmacogenomics without investing in entirely new platforms, our goal is simple: help laboratories do more with the equipment they already have.”
Visitors to Booth 4261 at ADLM 2026 will be able to see TetraFast™ qPCR MAsterMix chemistry and explore YouSeq’s expanding portfolio of infectious disease and pharmacogenomics assays.
