Speak to our expertsPharmacogenomics is transforming modern healthcare by helping clinicians tailor drug selection and dosing based on an individual’s genetic profile. Variants in genes involved in drug metabolism and response can influence treatment efficacy, toxicity risk, and adverse drug reactions across therapeutic areas including oncology, cardiology, psychiatry, infectious disease, immunology, hematology, and rheumatology.
YouSeq PGx qPCR panels are designed to help laboratories access clinically relevant pharmacogenomic targets in a fast, flexible, and efficient format. Built for research use only, the YouSeq PGx portfolio includes focused Core and broader Expanded panel options, supporting laboratories that want to develop PGx workflows around high-value prescribing areas such as fluoropyrimidines, thiopurines, warfarin, clopidogrel, irinotecan, codeine, tamoxifen, aminoglycosides, and other important drug–gene contexts.
Designed for sensitivity, specificity, and workflow simplicity, YouSeq PGx panels bring together clinically important SNPs, CNVs, repeat/VNTR content, and other key variants linked to drug metabolism and toxicity. The result is a practical qPCR-based approach for laboratories looking to build flexible, scalable pharmacogenomics testing workflows.
Choose Core Panel or Expanded Panel...
YouSeq PGx panels are supplied in a 384-well format with primers and probes pre-plated for a qPCR-ready workflow. Simply add qPCR MasterMix and nucleic acid sample to generate bright, clear genotyping through commonly available FAM/VIC channels. The panel format is designed to support efficient laboratory implementation, with automated data analysis powered by FastFinder and controls available to support a correctly controlled test.
The Core PGx qPCR Panel contains 10 genes and 30 targets, covering foundational pharmacogenomic markers across cardiology, GI, psychiatry, pain, oncology, immunology/IBD, and infectious disease. Core targets include DPYD, CYP2C19, CYP2C9, VKORC1, SLCO1B1, TPMT, NUDT15, CYP2D6, UGT1A1, and MT-RNR1.
The Expanded PGx qPCR Panel contains 18 genes and 48 targets, adding specialist, rare-allele, supportive, and emerging PGx markers beyond the Core menu. Expanded content includes additional CYP2C19 rare alleles, CYP4F2, SLC6A4, HTR2A, OPRM1, COMT, G6PD, UGT1A1 *36, and NAT2, enabling laboratories to configure indication-based add-ons depending on strategy and intended market.
YouSeq also offers a separate CYP2D6 CNV add-on kit for structural variation detection and quantification. This kit complements CYP2D6 SNP assays by supporting copy number assessment, helping laboratories build a more complete CYP2D6 PGx workflow.
Available product options include:
• Core panel 384-well format.
• Expanded panel 384-well format.
• CYP2D6 CNV add-on kit.
• PGx qPCR reagent pack.
The YouSeq PGx qPCR reagent pack can include positive control templates, template resuspension buffer, DNase/RNase-free water, TetraFAST qPCR MasterMix, and ROX passive reference dye. YouSeq panels are platform agnostic and designed to fit existing qPCR laboratory workflows without requiring additional capital investment.
