YouSeq is a biotechnology company that makes molecular testing kits that are used in hospitals and labs around the world to help fight cancer and other diseases. We are seeking a Research Scientist I to join our NGS team. This role requires a “go-getter” with technological expertise in the NGS.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As a Research Scientist I, you’ll be a driver of key R&D initiatives, troubleshoot technical challenges, and contribute to the evolution of our NGS product portfolio. A typical day might include:

• Designing and conducting controlled studies to answer critical scientific questions that advance our projects.
• Troubleshooting technical issues for internal teams or customers, leveraging your NGS expertise to deliver solutions.
• Collaborating in team meetings, presenting data, and proposing scientific or process improvements.
• Communicating with R&D and other departments to prioritize experiments, draft technical reports, or complete quality management tasks.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• BSc or equivalent in genomics, molecular biology, or a related field OR at least 2 years of hands-on experience in NGS product development or research.
