YouSeq is a biotechnology company that makes molecular testing kits that are used in hospitals and labs around the world to help fight cancer and other diseases.

We are looking for an ambitious individual to grab an opportunity to make a name for themselves in our business as it continues to grow. The successful candidate will have a varied and interesting job playing a central role in running the business’s ISO13485 Quality Management System.

The ideal candidate will have a life science degree and 5+ years of relevant management experience in an ISO13485 environment with 2+ years of direct line management experience. They will be a meticulous, high-energy individual with a great attention to detail, excellent communication skills and be a proven completer/finisher. They will be confident enough to work alongside and critique all members of the company and have a pragmatic, intelligent approach to ensuring things are done properly.

THE ROLE WILL BE VARIED AND DYNAMIC BUT WILL INCLUDE:
  • Maintain quality processes, ensuring effective implementation & execution throughout all business functions
  • Drive improvement within the company through management of non-conformances and observations
  • Day to day management of the Quality Team
  • Support all staff working within QMS of ISO13485
  • Execute & support internal audits of business functions
  • Maintain documentation and records required for product & process lifecycles
  • Undertake training of staff particularly in relation to familiarity of company processes
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Life science degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in QA role
  • 3+ years’ experience in QA management role
  • 2+ years’ experience in line management
DESIRABLE
  • Working knowledge of ISO13485
  • Working knowledge of molecular biology techniques (DNA sequencing and or qPCR)
