This YouSeq kit has been designed to quantitate residual DNA from CHO in cell lines which are used in the production of biopharmaceutical products. This is a key impurity for clearance during the purification process. Regulatory guidance for products produced in cell culture makes it very clear that DNA content in the final product should be minimal.

Application

To screen for contaminating residual host cell DNA it is critical to use the most sensitive technology possible. Traditional methods have proven laborious and lack sensitivity and specificity. The YouSeq HEK293 Residual DNA Quantitation kit resolves all of these issues.

Technical specification

The YouSeq real-time PCR protocol is fast and easy to set up; less than 30 minutes of hands-on time. 45 cycles of qPCR are then performed in around 90 minutes delivering precise, reliable results in less than 2 hours

The HEK293 kit is designed and tested to provide highly specific detection of the cell line DNA species of interest and will not cross-react with any other species.
